Images from yesterday's route

Jon Dawkins (http://3meterswell.blogspot.com/) contributed the following by email:

After the weather they have had I'll bet Klemtu was a welcome luxery.

Paddling from their camp on Princess Royal Island to Klemtu they would have passed through Laredo Sound: https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/3uB1lBdASR3T3pJ7-GibWg?feat=directlink (note that the direction of travel in this photo is opposite of theirs) and into Meyers Passage: https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/xBaz6Xh0HqdeW-RBC-CGXA?feat=directlink .

Meyers Passage gets fairly narrow eventually and then opens back up.

It's a pretty area: https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/WSIuNDI6cdXdo8mTWy3-lw?feat=directlink.

Klemtu is pretty nice when compared to Bella Bella: https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/LupKHL5wlqG8oPrlzEf3cw?feat=directlink

[I should add that Jon Walpole mentioned on the phone yesterday that in order to arrive before 5pm they were fighting a strong tide for part of their journey yesterday. They were catching eddy's like they were going upstream on a river. -- Jim ]
