They are at Open Bight. A beautiful long sandy beach with lots of bears. They are on the mainland so they are in Brown Bear territory. The beach has a fresh water stream at the east end which should be running and lots of game trails that exit the forest for the beach every 10 - 20 yards or so. I doubt that they will sleep soundly this evening.
Here is a photo that was taken from about where they set off their spot. https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/IOKly5KOnxX8JAqoAWkOtw?feat=directlink
I suspect that they are setting themselves up for rounding Cape Caution and crossing Slingsby Channel near an early morning slack. If so Red Sand Beach in Smith Sound might be their next move.
